Roscoe is very affectionate. He is very intelligent. He will retrieve a ball. He knows "come", "sit" and "wait". He used to "bolt" on us and he would run until we found him.The last time he ran to the humane society and waited for them to open the front door!! He doesn't do that anymore for us. He will come back when we say "come Roscoe!" He loves little swimming pools in the summer. He cannot be confined for any time in a kennel or fiberglass crate...he will destroy both very quickly. He does like to bury treats and bones in our yard and then digs them up. So I would say he is a digger. He is excellent at walking on a lead. He doesn't bark at anything unless he is playing with another dog. He loves to play/chew on black "Kong" toys. He is so very loving and obeys very well. He is not an alpha male. He does eat whatever is in front of him, so we have scheduled times to feed. He is on Science Diet food and needs to be on a high-quality food due to his body chemistry. Nothing is wrong health wise, but on a "cheaper" food he will start to form crystals in his bladder which would eventually lead to stones. He is a great pet. He is inside a lot with our family and loves to lie on the couch in the evenings and just hang out with everyone.

We are not sure if Roscoe is good with cats. Roscoe needs a high fence.
