Dog Story:
"Oh Danny Boy", ....come on, you know you want to start singing that old Irish Song. At least that is what happens when everyone meets Danny! They break out in chorus. Danny seems to bring Irish out in everyone he meets! This is one very sweet gentle boy. He doesn't bark, he bellows....He makes you laugh no matter how many times you hear him. Danny is a cuddler, a warm soul on a cold night. A dog who listens, but never tells your secrets.

Danny has hip displasia and takes a pill to combat the arthritis but I have to tell you, if you think his bellowing is funny. You should see how he overcomes stairs and such. He puts both his back legs perfectly together and "hops" up the stairs. If he wasn't so big, you would swear you were seeing a rabbit!! Danny doesn't miss a beat in life. He has been an inspiration to us on how you just get up and keep going.

Danny would make a great companion for a senior and thus qualifies for our Senior Companion program. Danny hates to be alone, loves to be near you, not necessarily on top of you. He sleeps on a dog bed, is housebroken, great with kids and other dogs. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. If you think Danny boy could bring sunshine and laughter to your home, then fill out the adoption application and mention his name. Danny is up to date on his vaccinations and heart worm negative and on preventative.

History:
Danny came in as a stray at a shelter in Oklahoma. They contacted ABR where we took him in, got him caught up with vaccinations, etc. Danny seems to be in real good health for his age.

If you would like more information on Danny please visit our website @ www.americanbrittanyrescue.org for an online adoption application. Thank-you!
